Last year in 2013, chamber.sounds commissioned four short chamber operas from the Asia-Pacific region and this year, we will be presenting them all together in one evening.

it will be an international evening, with works from Australia, Canada, Japan and Singapore's very own Chen Zhangyi! This will be our very first venture into chamber operas, as well as the world premiere of all four works which are wildly different; from shopping for shoes to an astronaut's mind, and Emily Dickinson poetry to the tragic earthquake at Tohoku and its aftermath. Come prepared for an unforgettable night of music-making and drama!
